This AEC Pickup Truck is a classic model from the famous Lesney Models of Yesteryear range. Model Y-6 was first introduced in 1957. The Models of Yesteryear series is well known for its detailed miniature versions of historic vehicles.
This example features the original M. JAMES C. LONDON livery on the cargo bed. The open cargo body, spoked wheels and authentic styling give the model the appearance of an early commercial vehicle.
Lesney created the Models of Yesteryear range to celebrate historic vehicles in miniature form. Today these models remain highly popular among collectors of vintage die-cast vehicles.
