Fandango Fantasy Car 1:60 White Matchbox Rolamatics

What is the Rolamatics series?

The Rolamatics series consists of fantasy cars that were designed entirely around play and movement. Instead of copying an existing car, these models were allowed to have a design of their own. The result was a range of cheerful, playful vehicles that stand out through their imaginative styling. The Fandango is a fine example: a fictional car with an original character that fits perfectly with the playful spirit of the series.

A fantasy car with character

As a fantasy car, the Fandango does not have to follow the rules of reality. This is reflected in the look of the model, which was designed to be fun and to spark the imagination. Precisely because it is a fictional vehicle, the designers could play freely with shape and style. That freedom makes the Fandango a striking presence, both in the play world and in a collection of unusual toys.

Play comes first

The fantasy vehicles from the Rolamatics series were primarily designed to be played with. Their playful design invites children to invent stories and act out adventures. The models are also sturdy enough to withstand intensive use, making them suitable for children who love their toys. The fact that this is an original fantasy vehicle makes it even more fun: there is no right look, and the model easily fits into any imaginable play scenario.

A striking addition

For collectors, a fantasy car like the Fandango is a pleasant change from the many realistic models in the cabinet. Fictional vehicles tell a different story and stand out through their original appearance. This model is therefore a lovely addition to a collection that otherwise consists of classic or realistic models. In this way, the Fandango adds a cheerful and playful element to any collection and also makes an original gift for lovers of unusual toys.
