Exclusive artisanal production and fired in our own studio at 800°C

What makes this porcelain Volkswagen T1 bus truly unique is the high-quality and small-scale production process. To guarantee the exact, recognisable lines of the classic split-window bus, a special mould was made from an existing scale model. The buses are artisanal cast via this mould and professionally fired by an external specialist. We then carry out the graphic finishing entirely in-house in our studio. The colourful retro images are applied by hand with extreme precision onto the white bus, after which the model is permanently fired in our ceramic kilns at more than 800 degrees Celsius. The result is a razor-sharp, glossy print that is fully scratch-resistant, wear-resistant and UV-resistant. The nostalgic hippie colours never fade!
