What makes this specific Matchbox model so unique and sought after among connoisseurs is the historical accuracy of the casting combined with the movable construction. A fantastic mechanical detail is that the large yellow/orange metal load bed can actually be tipped upwards. The truck combination features its original, early colour scheme with a deep red metal cab, featuring the recognisable round red-white warning logos (triangle emblem) on both doors. The cab additionally excels with its clear, turquoise-blue windows and a heavily chrome-plated front bumper with grille.

The Scammell Constructor dumper has been manufactured to a high standard in England from a solid metal (die-cast) bodywork combined with a plastic superstructure, a metal chassis and an unpainted metal base plate. This model is a free-rolling scale model without a friction or pull-back motor. The model stands sturdily thanks to a robust 3-axle chassis with a total of 6 wide black plastic wheels with a realistic profile. All wheels can rotate completely freely, independently and extremely smoothly, allowing the truck to roll smoothly across the construction site.

The dumper is made in a comfortable, large format (12 centimetres long), feeling sturdy and solid in the hand.
