What makes this particular Solido scale model truly unique, valuable and highly sought after is the beautiful historical accuracy of the casting. The race car features a deep red base paint and is covered with the original factory tampo prints, including the characteristic blue-white-red racing stripes running along the length of the bodywork and the iconic number 8 on the nose, the flanks and the rear wing. The Ferrari 512M has been manufactured in France to a high standard from a solid, durable metal (die-cast) body combined with precision plastic parts, a transparent cockpit and detailed headlight lenses. The model is made in the popular 1:43 collector's scale (approximately 10 centimetres in length) and rolls smoothly on its authentic, glossy chrome sports wheels with wide rubber racing tyres. The item is in excellent, carefully inspected second-hand condition with only minimal, age-related traces of use on the paintwork.
