Bead Roller Coaster Bead Maze Mula IKEA

Playful practice with beads

The bead roller coaster is a classic among baby toys. Little hands move the beads along the track upwards, over the arches and back down again. While children play, they unconsciously practise their hand-eye coordination, their grasping motor skills and their knowledge of colours and shapes. A simple concept indeed, but with a surprising amount of educational play fun that manages to captivate children time and again.

The Mula line by IKEA

Mula is IKEA's well-known wooden toy line, of which this bead track is a beloved part. The line is known for sturdy and timeless wooden toys without unnecessary extras: exactly what many parents and grandparents look for nowadays. This specimen combines wood with metal wires, so the track feels solid in the hand and can withstand years of intensive play.

Suitable for babies and toddlers

This type of toy works well in the children's room, in the play corner or even in the waiting room of a practice. Children pick it up spontaneously and often stay busy with it for long stretches of time. Because the beads remain attached to the track, there are no loose parts to lose: handy for families with several young children and convenient on the road.

A sensible gift

Looking for a baby shower gift or something nice for a first birthday? With a bead track you give toys that really get used. It is educational, robustly built and, thanks to the natural look of wood, fits virtually any interior. Such a classic also lasts for generations: toys to pass on from child to child.
