History and Background of the Deployment at Pichon (1943)

The armored vehicle that served as the blueprint for this miniature was part of a British armored unit deployed during the decisive strategic operations in the spring of 1943, notably in the region around Pichon in Tunisia. This specific variant was equipped with a more powerful main gun to effectively counter the heavier adversaries encountered on the battlefield. The machine was highly regarded at the time due to its high speed and mobility in open desert terrain. This specific model accurately reflects the external features and operational configuration from those crucial historic days in Africa, including the specific sand-colored camouflage patterns and tactical markings.
